Paying for Youtube .... Red?

This new idea of YouTube Red is a new way to get users hooked into buying something that really isn't all that necessary. Although the features it offers like audio-playback when you're off the application is good for if you want to stream songs using your phone, or the access to the new 360 camera in video uploads. But do you honestly think its worth $9.99 a month? Not for me, no. If I had money to waste and if I even used youtube enough that it would benefit the way I go by my day, maybe i'd consider paying for it but its honestly not worth it to me.

The Death of Television? I Think Not.

Is The T.V Dying? Absolutely not. There is an enormous amount of people in our Western society that rely on television for entertainment and just plain, old-fashioned mind-numbing time consumption. These days, our T.V's are offering us WiFi connectivity, and super-ultra-mega high 3D definition quality of our shows and movies that we can't really get on our handheld devices. Another major seller for the television is what it offers us in video games. The "next-gen" gaming consoles gives out more frames per second which requires a higher definition television. New T.V sales go up and the television is needed by a community of millions of gamers worldwide. Cable television has seen a big decline in services due to the availability of  Netflix and Showbox (services that offer wide varieties of shows and movies) but the television is still used in homes for PPV events and live shows and sports. There are other network services that offer live streaming of shows and sports but they are not always are reliable. I personally love the television so my opinion on whether or not it is dying may be a little bias. But I look at how I use my television and it is similar to many other people (at least that I have met) where I use it to watch something together with a group of people or just for a bigger and better quality and experience when watching movies and playing video games. With the way the television is providing many people with entertainment, I do not see it dying for a very long time.
